Common questions.
Is there a minimum job size you will take on?
There is no formal minimum, but a half-day call-out has fixed costs that make very small jobs feel disproportionate per hour. Where possible we batch smaller items together so you get better value from a single visit.
How quickly can you respond to an urgent repair?
For genuine emergencies such as an active leak or a structural risk we triage same-day and aim to make safe quickly. For non-urgent repairs we book a visit in the normal schedule, usually within a week or two depending on demand.
Do you give a written quote even for small jobs?
Yes. Every job, large or small, gets a written scope and price before work starts. For small repairs the quote may be a single page, but the principle is the same: you know the cost and what is included before we lift a tool.
Can you handle plumbing and electrical work as part of a small job?
Yes, through qualified trades. Specialist heating and gas work is carried out by qualified engineers on our team, and notifiable electrical work is certified by a qualified electrician.
Will you tidy up at the end of the work?
Yes. Site is left swept, waste removed under our waste carrier registration, and any disturbed surfaces reinstated. We never leave broken-out material or off-cuts behind for you to deal with.
Do you guarantee small repair work as well as bigger projects?
Yes. Workmanship is covered by the same written guarantee as our larger projects, scaled to the nature of the repair. The guarantee term is set out in the written quote before you sign.
